Why this exists

Most free tarot sites do one of two things. Either they give you three card names and a link to somebody else's dictionary, or they wrap a perfectly good draw in enough mystique that you cannot tell what was computed and what was made up. This one does neither: the draw is explained, the meanings are written out in full on the page, and there is a page about exactly how the reading is assembled.

How it pays for itself

There is a book. It is ours, written from the same card meanings this site runs on, which means the site and the book can never contradict each other. Every card page and every reading links to it. That is the whole business model, and it is the reason there is no sign-up wall, no "unlock your full reading", and no counter telling you how many free readings you have left.

The card meanings on this site stay free permanently. They are what the site is for.
