Stop. The Four of Swords is a knight lying on a tomb with three swords on the wall and one beneath him. Rest, not defeat. It is the most practical card in the suit and it prescribes the least fashionable thing: doing nothing, deliberately, until you are not exhausted.
Reversed

Rest refused or over. Reversed, this is going back too soon, restlessness that will not let you recover, or (better) the end of a fallow period and permission to start again.
